Forza Horizon 4 - Buildings

For Forza Horizon 4 I worked on the Buildings and Props Team.

Some of my responsibilities included:

- Making benchmark quality buildings with the Assets Team (Buildings and Props)
- Instructing and giving feedback to outsource artists
- Creating the benchmark quality "Parallax Interior" textures in V-Ray and 3Ds Max, including materials. The shader for this was provided to the Environment Art Team by the Tech Art Team.
- Creating the Parallax Interiors in production with Marcel Lenoir and Nathan Doye and applying them to all the buildings in the game.
- Building artwork and bug fixing throughout production on multiple buildings.

Making the Takeaway "Fish and Chip Shop" and shop mannequin interiors was so much fun. The mannequins and clothing were provided by the Character Team and I converted them for this use.

The Parallax Interior shader created realistic HDR lighting on the interiors which came from a night-time version of each interior texture.
